

ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é received a $1.1 million three-year grant from the Economic Development Administration’s (EDA) University Center program. The grant will support ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é’s innovative efforts in expanding its Human Services and Addiction program, aiming to reduce health disparities in the underserved communities.

The North Central Area Health Education Center supported by the Institute for Health Innovation will host its annual job fair at ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é in September. The event, which showcases various health care employers in the region and teaches students about careers in health care, drew 773 students from 27 local high schools last year.
ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é, in partnership with CPE and the Department for Community-Based Services (DCBS) kicked off the Community Learning Network. The CLN is  more responsive, modern and regionally inclusive workforce training system for Kentucky’s human services professionals, including over 5,000 DCBS employees and thousands of foster parents, kinship caregivers and community partners across 120 counties.
